Rivus HGV Reverts Back To Pullman Name

Rivus HGV, the sister company to Rivus Fleet Solutions (RFS) that collapsed into administration in late June, has reverted to using the Pullman brand name.

Trading as a separate entity under Pullman Fleet Services, the administration of RFS and subsequent sale of most of its assets to the Metropolitan Police Service had no impact on Rivus HGV and the company said it remained ‘business as usual’.

Pullman Fleet Services continues to offer HGV repair and maintenance, VMU management and MoTs. The company has also recently won a contract to provide repair and maintenance services for DHL eCommerce trailers at a VMU near Coventry airport, which is expected to create around 25 jobs.

Pullman added that its brand name remains one of the most recognisable in the industry and changing it was a call-back to its November 2020 acquisition by asset firm Aurelius.

“As we revert to a well-known name in the industry, we want to emphasise that the heart of our business remains our dedicated and professional team,” said Pullman Fleet Services MD Dave Jones.

“For over 30 years, our skilled professionals have been committed to exceptional service delivery.

“Despite the recent changes, we have worked tirelessly to ensure our customers experience seamless and uninterrupted support. Our priority is, and always will be, the satisfaction and trust of those we serve.”

The sale of RFS to the police saved 165 jobs and secured the delivery of services to the Met.
