DX Freight splits MD role in two and names new directors

DX has made several new senior appointments in its freight division following the announcement of Paul Ibbetson’s promotion to chief executive last week.

The company said the position of MD had been split into two, creating a head of each of its business units 1-Man and Logistics/2-Man.

Graham Hollingdrake, previously freight operations director, now heads up 1-Man and Ian Bolton, previously director of logistics, has been appointed MD of Logistics/2-Man. (pictured)

In addition, the current director of network development, Stuart Dawson, becomes operations director for 1-Man and Phil Scorer is promoted to operations director of Logistics/2-Man.

DX added that Elaine Phillips steps up to become sales director of Logistics/2-Man and Darren Bell is promoted to group fleet and compliance director.

Ibbetson said: “The creation of two new MDs at DX Freight is a sign of both the successful growth we have achieved at the division in recent years and of our confidence in the ongoing prospects for 1-Man and Logistics/2-Man.

“All these appointments reflect the depth of talent in the team and are well-deserved. I look forward to working with everyone as we continue to build revenue and profitability for the group.”
