Grand Prix Express flags four new DAF FTG XF trucks

Delivery firm Grand Prix Express, based in Colwyn Bay in North Wales, has taken delivery of four brand new DAF FTG XF 480 tractor units from Hexagon Leasing.

Founded in 1978, the family business specialises in a worldwide parcel and pallet delivery and collection service and operates a fleet of 16 trucks and ten trailers, including courier vans and articulated lorries.

“The trucks are being used for pallet multi-drops and collections as well as trunking.”

Alan Ellison, Hexagon Leasing chief executive, said: “We have a long-standing relationship with Grand Prix Express and are pleased that we could meet their requirements with these new DAF trucks which have been supplied on a full contract hire agreement.”

The four vehicles all have DVS cameras fitted and are being fleet managed by Hexagon Leasing.
