Trevor Sandiford invests in Renault T520s amid “tricky times and soaring costs”

Trevor Sandiford has added a Renault Trucks T520 6×2 to its fleet, with another T520 High 6×2 on order.

The T520 has been fitted with a 30ft Plowman’s Atlas livestock container with two decks and full lifting in separate sections and is covering the south west on general local farm to farm work.

The latest vehicle has been given a nod to the company’s livestock roots with the number plate TS55 MOO, joining stable mate TS55 COW, a 2019 plate Renault Trucks T520 6×2 with Fred Smith flatbed body.

Explaining why the agricultural haulage specialist chose Renault, co-owner Debbie Sandiford said: “As with every sector, business is tricky right now, especially with soaring costs.

“Now, more than ever, we needed to ensure that any new vehicles added optimum value to the operation and that the back-up and customer service from the dealer is first class.

“We struggled to even get quotes from other manufacturers but Sparks Commercial Services and especially our salesman, Roger Millett, were completely on the ball.”
