Wincanton adds five years to Waitrose deal

Wincanton has extended its relationship with Waitrose with a new five-year contract to continue managing its storage and distribution of wines and spirits from its Greenford bonded warehouse.

The operation will see Wincanton serve Waitrose’s network of 329 shops and 27 Welcome Break locations and its online wine ordering site, Waitrose Cellar.

The 3PL said the contract meant coordinating the delivery of around 13 million cases of wines and spirits each year.
