Phoenix Worldwide in administration

Warwickshire haulier Phoenix Worldwide Logistics has entered administration.

Incorporated in 1990 and trading out of four operating centres in the West Midlands, the company held a standard international licence authorising 29 lorries and 29 trailers.

Around half of its fleet was stationed in Rugby and in Dunchurch.

It also operated warehousing with 11,000 sq ft of storage space and it offered full warehousing and distribution packages.

An appointment of administrators was filed in the High Court, which stated that SFP Restructuring was appointed to the logistics and warehousing firm on 26 April.

When motortransport.co.uk rang Phoenix Worldwide its lines were no longer working. SFP did not respond.
